We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable instructor for our Pelvic Health Restoration and Recovery Yoga program. This role is essential in providing a supportive and safe environment for women to enhance their physical and mental well-being through specialized yoga practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness, anatomy, and various exercise modalities to effectively guide participants through their journey of Pelvic Health Restoration and Recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging and informative pelvic health yoga classes tailored to the needs of women.
  • Develop class plans that incorporate safe practices for pelvic health, focusing on strength, flexibility, and relaxation.
  • Provide personalized guidance to participants, addressing individual concerns related to pelvic health recovery.
  • Foster a welcoming community atmosphere that encourages open communication and support among participants.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and techniques related to pelvic health, pregnancy, and postpartum fitness.
  • Collaborate with other fitness professionals to promote holistic health approaches within the facility.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy as it relates to pelvic health including pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
  • Experience in fitness sales or personal training is a plus.
  • Familiarity with various fitness modalities such as CrossFit, cycle, kickboxing, dance, Pilates, or gym-based training.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse groups of individuals.
  • Passion for promoting health and wellness among women during their transformative journey.
  • Ability to create a supportive environment that empowers participants in their fitness journey.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $24.40 - $29.38 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 6 per week

  • Morning shift: 9:00 AM -10:00 AM (M/W/S)
  • Evening shift: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM (M/W)
  • On call: SUBSTITUTE
